To understand how it works…
We need to touch on the critical mistakes people make when it comes to getting in control of their drinking.
The first major mistake that most people make is using willpower to try and control their drinking.
Because, here’s the thing…
In life, you’re probably already successful.
You probably have a career, a relationship, maybe children, a degree, a nice house, a car.
You already have plenty of things in your life that took a lot of willpower to achieve.
So, naturally you’re a strong-willed person.
Therefore, it would make sense that using willpower would be an effective way to stop drinking alcohol.
Right?
But, for some strange reason, every time we try using willpower to stop drinking alcohol, it never works.
It might work for a few days, weeks, months, even sometimes years – but every time we use willpower, we always end up back at square 1.
So, what’s the solution?
You simply should NEVER use willpower to stop drinking.
Willpower and stopping drinking are completely unrelated.
If you are using willpower to stop drinking, it’s never going to work.
And even if it works for a short period of time, you’ll always feel as though you’re giving something up.
In other words, you’ll live the rest of your life feeling miserable and like you’ve made a huge sacrifice.
It’s just the wrong method.
